Our Attorneys

Anapol Schwartz' attorneys come from diverse backgrounds and have extensive experience in their focus of practice. We look to our lawyers to be involved citizens as well as dedicated professionals.

Larry Cohan

Larry Cohan, Esq., Managing Partner and Senior Trial Counsel for our Cherry Hill, New Jersey office, chairs the Toxic Tort Litigation Department of Anapol Schwartz.

David Jacoby

David Jacoby, Esq., was an Anapol Schwartz shareholder, recognized by his peers as a leading New Jersey litigator. In 2008, David Jacoby retired from the firm and now serves as an Of Counsel.

Joel Feldman

Joel Feldman, Esq., is the managing partner and active trial attorney representing personal injury claims, securities litigation, and stockbroker claims. He is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is recognized as a Super Lawyer.

Nathaniel E. P. Ehrlich

Nathaniel E. P. Ehrlich, Esq., is a non-equity partner of Anapol Schwartz who focuses his practice on representing professional athletes for labor lawsuits and workers’ compensation. He is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Thomas R. Anapol

Thomas R. Anapol, Esq., is an Anapol Schwartz shareholder and Super Lawyer. He is admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Miriam Benton Barish

Miriam Benton Barish, Esq., is a non-equity partner of Anapol Schwartz who strongly advocates the law as how it relates to women’s issues. She graduated cum laude from Widener School of Law and is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

Stephen J. Pokiniewski, Jr.

Stephen J. Pokiniewski, Esq., is a non-equity partner of Anapol Schwartz and has developed an expertise in managed care cases, including representing clients in landmark cases and the ability to sue Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO). He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and before the United States Supreme Court.

Tracy A. Finken

Tracy A. Finken, Esq., an Anapol Schwartz associate, is known for her ability to present each case in a unique perspective. In 2005, she was named a Pennsylvania "Rising Star Super Lawyer" in the December 2005 edition of Philadelphia magazine which recognizes the top 2.5 percent of attorneys 40 years old or younger in Pennsylvania. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Gregory S. Spizer

Gregory S. Spizer, Esq., an Anapol Schwartz associate, works hard to obtain the best results for his clients. In 2004, he was designated as a "Forty under Forty" member by the New Jersey Law Journal. Mr. Spizer is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Melissa Hague

Melissa Hague, Esq., has successfully argued motions before the United States District Court District of New Jersey regarding human tissue products liability litigation. She has represented numerous families in lawsuits against funeral homes for the mutilation and illegal harvesting of body parts from corpses. Ms. Hague, an Anapol Schwartz associate, is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Anita Pitock

Anita L. Pitock believes in treating her clients with the same devotion she provided to her patients during her more than twenty years in medicine.

Shayna Slater

Shayna Slater, Esq., is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association as well as the New Jersey Bar Association. Her areas of practice include Product Liability, Class Actions and Medical Malpratice.

Adrianne Walvoord

Adrianne Walvoord, Esq., was a former law clerk at Anapol Schwartz before joining as an associate. Her focus is unsafe drugs and she is admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Michael C. Schafle

Michael C. Schafle, Esq., an Anapol Schwartz associate, focuses his practice in pharmaceutical liability and other personal injury cases. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as, before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.
