She received her bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University in 1993 and graduated cum laude with a law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1998. During law school, Ms. Finken was a member of the Moot Court and Trial Advocacy honor societies and was honored with the Most Promising Civil Litigator Award as well as the Outstanding Student Service Award.
