On Monday afternoon a pick up truck and a tractor trailer truck crashed on County Route 538 (Bridgeton Pike) in Elk Township. One person was hurt and another was killed in the accident.
Police report that the driver of the pick up truck, 59 year old Joseph Miller of Lancaster, PA suffered severe head injuries in the accident and later died from his injuries at Cooper University Hospital. Mr. Miller’s passenger, who has not yet been identified, was admitted to Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center with injuries. The truck driver did not sustain injuries.
The cause of this fatal New Jersey accident remains under investigation.
