A week ago today a man was walking along the 400 block of Stagecoach Road in Marmora when he was hit by a car. The driver fled the scene of the accident and took off in the direction of the Garden State Parkway. The New Jersey State Police are investigating the accident and trying to locate the driver.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, suffered a head injury in this New Jersey pedestrian hit and run accident. He was airlifted to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City for treatment.
